Wet part / Production part

In the so-called wet part of the CO2 plant, the CO2 production, gas cooling and purification, and absorption/desorption are centralized. BUSE delivers the wet part pre-piped as a complete unit.

The burner is a special industrial burner, which ensures that the raw material is stoichiometrically combusted as far as possible in order to achieve the maximum concentration of CO2 in the flue gas and to keep the concentration of oxygen very low (lowest possible MEA losses).

The special BUSE washer unit has been designed in such a way that only a small quantity of fresh water has to be supplied to the plant. In the MEA circuit, there is a highly-effective integrated MEA filter system, meaning that the MEA solution does not have to be replaced. All pumps used in the circuit have been made in Germany.

Most sections of the BUSE wet part are made of stainless steel: all components coming into contact with the damp CO2 or with hot MEA are made of stainless steel.
