Dry ice is the solid state form of carbon dioxide (CO2). During the expansion of liquid CO2 below the triple point, finely powdered snow with a temperature of approx. -78.9°C is generated. In a dry ice press, this snow is formed into blocks and discs.
For our own, independent production of dry ice, BUSE delivers hydraulically-operated dry ice machines. It is possible to automatically produce pellets of different sizes, discs and blocks.
