Structure of the BUSE group

Against the background of the fact that the market for technical gases as well as for CO2 has been increasingly dominated by major corporations, since the middle of the 1990s, BUSE has gradually withdrawn from the high volume business of the recovery and marketing of carbon dioxide and other gases in Western Europe. Since1992, the corresponding activities were initially pursued by BUSE Gase GmbH & Co. KG, together with the Messer Griesheim Group, before the final withdrawal from this business was completed in 1994 by means of long-term leasing to Messer Griesheim.

Since then, BUSE has focused on its role as an internationally active engineering company and service provider to the gas industry and has also very successfully established itself as a gas producer and distributor in the national economies of South-East Europe, which have been growing rapidly since the opening of the frontiers.
